PTSA Student Representative Council
Objectives
- To encourage student participation in the Centreville High School Parent Teacher Student Association
- To provide leadership opportunities for students
- To serve the school and community
Certification
Students who participate in the Student Representative Council will receive a certificate and commendation letter to add to their college admission or work reference files. No elections or appointments are required—just interested students who want to be heard and make a difference in our school.
To earn a certificate, you must:
- Be a PTSA member. Membership forms are available on the PTSA Website at www.cvhsptsa.org
- Attend at least three PTSA Executive Board meetings throughout the school year
- Complete at least five PTSA-approved service hours
Meetings are held in the CVHS Media Center at 7:00 PM. Most PTSA meetings end by 8:00 PM. If a meeting continues past 8:00 PM, students may feel free to leave at that time.

Volunteer Opportunities
- PTSA table at Back-to-School Night
- Homecoming activities
- Publicity activities
- Teacher Appreciation Luncheon, or other PTSA hospitality event
- Spring Mulch Sale
- Other PTSA events and activities
- Community service project to be determined by SRC members.
