- CVHS regulations also prohibit smoking inside the school or the school grounds. This regulation will remain in effect during the duration of the adventure.
Mulch Sale
- The annual mulch sale is a major PTSA fundraiser which provides the bulk of the funds for the After-Grad party.
- A tremendous amount of adult and student volunteers from all classes are needed to ensure the success of this fundraiser.
- A great time is had by all with added incentives such as free food, drawings for student volunteers, and extra Casino chips for Seniors attending the After-Grad Party!
- For more information or to place an order for mulch, go to the website: www.cvhsmulch.org or contact Ed O’Connor: edocconor@cox.net.
The Fine Print for Parents
- If the celebration needs to be cancelled as a result of any incident, it will not be possible for the Security Committee to contact all the parents. Seniors will be requested to call their homes and alert their parents of the situation and will be required to leave the school property.
- Parents, please make sure you establish your own guidelines if your Senior chooses to leave. Our insurance coverage for the evening applies only as long as your senior is in attendance. Once they leave, our responsibility ends.
- The only adults allowed to attend After-Grad are those who have been assigned volunteer duties. NO exceptions.
- The direct phone number for the night of the event: Security Room-703-802-5440
- THANK YOU FOR GOING OVER THE GUIDELINES WITH YOUR SENIOR.
Parental Acknowledgment of Risk
By allowing my child to attend the All Night After-Grad Celebration, I am acknowledging that I have been made aware of the purpose of the After-Grad celebration and its various activities. To the best of my knowledge, my child is physically able to participate in this Celebration. I acknowledge that I am aware that the Celebration will take place on public property and that neither the After-Grad Committee nor its parent volunteers will have any responsibility for the actions of the students while on this property.
The assumption is that you have read and understand these rules and guidelines. NO response from you is understood as concurrence from you; contact us only if you have questions.
